The Challenge

Furniture and homeware brands lose sales to a single question: will it actually fit? Photographs cannot answer it, and the usual fix — a native AR app — asks a customer to install something before they have decided to buy, which almost none of them will do. Anything that replaces that guesswork has to work on the phone already in someone's hand, on a network nobody controls, in the seconds before their attention moves on.

What We Built

Helium built true-scale AR that runs in the browser. Scan a code and the piece stands on the floor beside you at its real size — and deliberately cannot be resized, because being unable to shrink it to fit is the entire point. Every model is verified against its real millimetre dimensions before deploy, technical dimension lines track the object as it turns, and the whole experience is self-hosted so it survives a bad venue network. It ends where it should: a WhatsApp conversation with the brand.
